AWS launched AgentCore Harness in public preview (subsequently moving toward GA), providing a managed environment for production-ready AI agents that handles tools, environment management, context, memory, identity controls, and observability — all configurable through three API calls. Harness supports any model provider including Bedrock, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Gemini, and runs agents in secure isolated microVMs with persistent memory.
